Application

Making Imitation Moss Frames at Low Cost

Prepare the materials:

Purchase picture frames and fake moss plant
A few pieces of Styrofoam
A wide paint brush
Some glue sticks and a glue gun

Okay, let's get started!

First, if your picture frame is new, remove the packaging and take the glass pieces out and set them aside.

Before you start attaching the fake moss, take the glass pieces out and put them in a safe place.

Put the backing and spacer of the frame back in place and to add some depth, glue the Styrofoam to the center of the frame. You can try different layouts to your liking.

Now you will need lots of glue sticks, all you have to do is apply hot melt glue to the back of each piece of moss and secure it to the Styrofoam. Now you can start filling in the other areas with different types of moss, it is recommended to try each color once and then repeat the process until the whole frame is covered with moss.

As a final step, you can paste more decorative mosses and succulents to add some depth to your piece. This project is very easy to maintain, doesn't require watering, and it adds a peaceful and relaxing vibe to your space.
