Laying fake grass between patio pavers can transform an outdoor space into a lush, low-maintenance oasis. Here's how to lay it smartly:

Assess your space: Before you begin, take a close look at your deck. Consider the layout, the size of the pavers, and how much sod you'll need to fill in the gaps.

Choose the right sod: For the edges of your pavers, we recommend landscape faux grass with a shorter pile, to determine which turf you want, get a free landscape turf sample or consult an expert directly.

Prepare the surface: Make sure the deck is clean and free of debris. Pavers should be stable and level. If they are not level, you may need to do some foundation work to create a solid base.

Measuring and cutting: Carefully measure the gaps between the pavers. Cut the sod to size, leaving a little extra for adjustments. A sharp utility knife works best for clean cuts.

Secure the turf: Use a strong adhesive to secure the synthetic turf in place. Apply the adhesive to the paving stones or turf and press firmly.

Edge Control: Keep edges neat. Use a small trowel to tuck the turf neatly between the paving stones and remove any excess adhesive.

Filling the gaps: Once the sod is in place, fill the gaps with the infill recommended by the sod manufacturer. The infill can be sand, rubber granules or similar material to keep the sod looking vibrant.

Maintaining Appearance: Regular brushing of the artificial lawn to keep the fibers upright and free of debris will keep the turf looking new.

Watering: Back yard turf doesn't require watering like natural grass, but a quick rinse with a hose can help remove dirt and grime over time.
